Banana Bread Deluxe

Bette's Banana bread is fabulous. I can't believe how many comments I get from gastrophiles on the delicious nature of Bette Hagman's (Praise be her name) Banana Bread Deluxe recipe from her book "Comfort Foods".
I'll take a picture as soon as the loaves are out of the oven, if they don't get consumed today because the boys are out of school. We are iced in! That makes a great day for baking though.

Whole Foods actually has *prepared* frozen banana bread and carrot cake. I'm hoping you can find some. This cooking everything we eat stuff went out in the early twentieth century, for everyone but us anyway.

Oh, what a funny truth in this world. But, I echo the minds of every celiac and gastrophile in the world. There is nothing like homemade. It's gourmet and this recipe in particular creates in me a gastrophic ephiphany!
