Hard, dry, nasty g-f cinnamon rolls? NO MORE! Now that I've perfected that recipe, I'm making orange rolls this week! Watch for the recipe.
Meanwhile, in the quest for great cinnamon rolls, some of the recipes did turn out hard and dry.
So today, Betty Crocker's challenge has me baking cinnamon roll cookies... purposefully!
Wish me luck!
I used a sugar cookie recipe and mixed up the dough. The dough is then flattened between plastic wrap, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, rolled up, sliced and then flattened on a cookie sheet. They baked at 350 for 10 minutes.
Remove them quickly before they stick to the cookie sheet. Slather on glaze and cool.
