Italian Sausage

I tried Living Without's Breakfast Sausage this week, but I've discovered I don't like sweet sausage, but it did inspire me to make up some of my own recipe for the lasagna for Father's Day.

Here we go!

3 tsp. minced garlic (from the bottle still)
1/2 tsp dry (flaked) basil, oregano, rosemary,
1/8 tsp hot pepper flakes
1 1/4 t. fennel
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
1 Tbs. dry parsley

I added all these ingredients to the ground turkey before frying it. It tasted good in the lasagna!


Well, it's delicious! And I've arrived! I have all the spices on hand or in the pantry to make most recipes. Does that raise my culinary expertise to kitchen assistant? At least?
