Whatever happened to Acrylamide?

'Member in September when I wrote about acrylamide? Went back on the site to check the newest info out, and the site has been purchased by the Grocery Manufacturers Group. So, of course, all the stats are gone.

I read another interesting article stating that added gluten in foods causes more active acrylamide carcinogens. Isn't that intriguing. Can't find it now, but the connection is very thought provoking.

Again, I guess I'll avoid french fries and potato chips.

Unless I'm starving in the supermarket! What else can I grab?

I didn't know this could be found in gluten! I new it was in fried foods though. Why do the bad foods have to taste so gosh darn good!?!

I am soooo glad I found your blog!
I am getting ready to go gluten free, I am also a vegan with psoriatic arthritis, so it is my number one priority to eat healthy and create a "clean" body!
Your recipes look delicious, and I cannot wait to try some of them out!
