CHIPOLTE Rice

I asked the husband to make this Sunday to serve with enchiladas and the smoky flavor of chipolte even goes well with the smoky taste of the husband's overdone-burnt-on-the-bottom rice.

Make it a Great GF Day and give a packet of this to a friend. It's a great make-and-take-mix for gifting.

Mix ingredients: 1 TBS chipolte seasoning, 1 tsp. salt, 2 Tbs. dried green peppers and 2 cups dry rice.

Instructions:

In a Rice Cooker, add packet to 2 cups water and a half of a can stewed tomatoes. Cook until done.

Conventional Stovetop Method: Add ½ can stewed tomatoes and 3 ½ cups water. Simmer 25-30 minutes.
